Ingredients:

2-1/2 lb pork hocks cut into 2″ pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup vinegar
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp oregano
1 small bay leaf
2 tbsp salted black beans
1/4 tsp pepper or 1 tsp. peppercorns
1 cup water
1/2 cup peanuts

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a big pot, bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 1-1/2 hours or until pork hocks are tender.
2. Remove bay leaf and peppercorns (if used) and serve hot.

Serves 6
